Micro-market: a store without a cashier

A YOCO Point micro-market is an open shelving unit and a refrigerator paired with a self-service terminal. The customer takes a product from the shelf, scans its barcode at the terminal and pays by bank card or NFC on the PAX payment terminal. No cashier is involved, no app has to be installed, no cash is handled.

The assortment is stocked to the location: snacks, drinks, dairy, sandwiches, salads and desserts, agreed with the host before launch. Sales and stock levels stream into FrontFlow — the cloud platform Your Coffee built in-house — so the team sees in real time what needs restocking at which address.

How it differs from a vending machine

A vending machine sells what fits its spirals: packaged goods in fixed slots, one product per slot. A micro-market has open shelves and a fridge, so the range is wider and includes fresh and chilled food — sandwiches, salads, dairy — that a machine cannot dispense. The customer picks the product up and reads the label before paying, which a glass front does not allow.

Checkout differs too. In a machine, the purchase is the machine’s mechanics; in a micro-market, the terminal is the checkout: tap the screen, scan the barcode, pay by card or NFC, done. The product mix is adjusted per location instead of being limited to a fixed planogram, and video monitoring covers the open shelves.

What Your Coffee provides

Equipment, delivery and installation, the initial product mix, restocking, maintenance, software and customer support — the Your Coffee team handles all of it under one contract. Remote monitoring, sales analytics and inventory alerts run on FrontFlow; updates roll out to every station over the air, without technician visits. Video monitoring is part of the standard setup.

What the host provides

Space and a power outlet. Hosting costs ₾0 — no equipment purchase, no service fees, no staff to assign. From signed contract to a working station takes one business day, and every location gets a dedicated account manager.

Where a micro-market works

The format runs today at clinics (Gagua Clinic, Medison, Aladashvili Clinic), universities (IBSU, NEU University), fitness clubs (Be Pure Fitness), offices, media companies and residential buildings — 25+ active YOCO Point locations across Tbilisi. A micro-market can stand alone or pair with the coffee module as a full station in one footprint.

Loyalty across the network

Purchases at any YOCO Point accumulate into one lifetime total. The tiers are permanent: Bronze 5% from the first purchase, Silver 7% from ₾100, Gold 10% from ₾300, Platinum 15% from ₾550. The discount is applied automatically at the terminal checkout — the customer sees their tier on the screen.
